Members‑at‑Large (5) who are passionate about representing the voices and needs of educators across New Jersey. In this role, individuals will support key NJASCD initiatives, contribute to committees as needed, and help guide the organization’s strategic direction. Members‑at‑Large play a vital part in strengthening our mission by ensuring diverse perspectives inform our work and by actively engaging colleagues throughout the state.
Higher Education Liaison (1) who serves as a vital connection between NJASCD and colleges/universities, fostering strong partnerships that support educator preparation and ongoing professional learning. In this role, the liaison shares current research, emerging trends, and innovative practices from higher education to help inform and strengthen the board’s initiatives and decisions. The Higher Education Liaison also actively engages faculty, preservice teachers, and graduate students in NJASCD events, expanding the organization’s reach and strengthening the pipeline of future educational leaders.
